Here’s the scoop on our Friday activities for the 2016 FCA National Meet in Tulsa, Oklahoma!
Friday Morning, 9:15 am lineup, 9:30 am departure: We will visit the brand new Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum approximately 25 minutes southwest of the Marriott Tulsa Hotel Southern Hills in the town of Sapulpa, OK. Inside this museum you may expect to see vintage cars, memorabilia and historical items which will inspire recollections of historic Route 66 for many of us, or allow us to glimpse what we missed during the glory days of cross-country, town-to-town driving, pre-Interstate highway system. The FCA is offered the opportunity to be the first group and possibly the very first people welcomed into this new museum. What an honor for our club! We’ll also gather for a group photo which will become part of the display for all future museum visitors to see. You won’t want to miss out on this unique opportunity for your classic to be a recorded part of car history.
As a bonus, you may choose to visit another local museum just a few minutes away called Signs of the Times. Owner Larry White will open his museum for a second tour for FCA members following our visit to the Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum. The Signs of the Times museum features all kinds of signs to stir our memories of long-gone gas stations, welcoming ice cold drinks on long, dusty drives, and many ‘Made in America’ products of the past.
And, if that isn’t enough, just down the road from the Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum is an historic iron bridge. The recently restored and reopened Rock Creek Parker Truss Bridge was built in 1921 and was a vital passage on Route 66 through Sapulpa. So, experiences and photo opportunities abound for your 2016 National experience.

Friday Evening, 5 pm lineup, 5:15 pm departure: Bring your car out Friday evening, May 20, to FCA Night at Tulsa Raceway Park!
All-FCA eliminations will be set up, and we’ll watch for the Fastest Fairlane, Torino, or mid-size Merc. Time shots and eliminations, all for fun. This is also a regular test and tune night for the track. For FCA spectators - an area will be roped off for FCA cars to park.
Admission is $12.00 per person for everyone, with kids 12 and under free.
To race you will also purchase a tech card for $10.00, so it's a total of $22 to race.
